Join TAP-DC for a free movie screening of the 2018 Taiwanese comedy-drama film “Dear Ex” (誰先愛上他的)! The event will take place at CCTECRO on 8/6 at 3pm, and popcorn will be available.

“Dear Ex” was nominated for eight Golden Horse Awards (Taiwan’s equivalent of the Oscars) and won three, including Best Film Editing and Best Leading Actress. Taiwan also chose “Dear Ex” as its submission for the Oscars race for Best International Feature Film.

Synopsis (courtesy of Netflix): A teen navigates a bitter feud between his willful mom and a free-spirited man, who’s the lover and insurance beneficiary of his recently deceased dad.
