Kasama Rum is once again coming back to the nation's capital, and this time we are making it big in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Join us on Sunday, May 29th at 6 PM EDT at Purple Patch for a fun evening full of cultural performances, delicious food and drinks, camaraderie, giveaways and more!
Kick off the night with a traditional lion dance from Wong People Kung Fu Association and a Tahitian dance from Tepua Hio Hio. Then meet Kasama Rum's founder Alexandra Dorda! Get the opportunity to taste the popular Kasama Rum and participate in a Q&A with Alexandra. You can even purchase and take home your own Kasama Rum bottle signed by Alexandra herself!
Stick around for a cultural attire showcase and contest - be sure to dress in your country's cultural attire or colors to get a chance to win $50 cash from NAAAP DC! Finally, sing the night away with some karaoke in Purple Patch's bar!
Please note, no table reservations will be taken. Tables are on a first come first serve basis. We recommend arriving early to secure your table. Most activities will take place outdoors so be sure to dress accordingly.
