Hiking and camping not your thing--but you still wanna enjoy the wonderful weather? We'll be doing a post-hike picnic on the 23rd at Sugarloaf Winery! Because this will be immediately following the hike, the hiking group will be at the winery at approximately 1pm. The winery offers tastings for $10 per person and is Bring Your Own Food, so bring a picnic blanket and some snacks. Bring your friends too cuz they surely will loaf Sugarloaf Mountain Winery!

TAPpy Hour with Headshot

Thursday November 17, 6-8:30 PM • Dirty Martini

Your brand is your first impression in both the digital and physical world. According to LinkedIn, profiles with a professional photo are viewed 7x more than those without one. As well, 94% of recruiters use LinkedIn as a way to find suitable candidates for their job openings.

So isn't it time to renew your image as we enter the highest recruitment season of the year?

TAP-DC promotes career development and growth for our Asian American profesional network in the DMV area. At our next TAPpy Hour, we've linked up with one of the area's well known professional photographers (Mayline Yu) to capture you as the best way to promote yourselves on LinkedIn. "Elegence is an Attitude" so feel free to doll up and suit up.

Visit Mayline's website at www.maylineyu.com. Sample photos are posted.

Bring a friend or two and come get your headshot taken at Dirty Martini for a discounted price of $25 a person (most professional headshots run $100) through an EventBrite ticket purchase (without an entry ticket, we're asking for a $5 door donation - we take cc at the door). The first 50 people who pay for a headshot are automatically entered in a raffle for a $100 and $50 gift card as well! Dirty Martini will also have tasty Happy Hour food and drink specials, lively music and a fun atmosphere to network with new professionals in the community.
